ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR COURSE
The PADI Assistant Instructor (AI) course is not only an excellent way to prepare for the Instructor course, IDC, but also a valuable continuation in learning new skills. Especially in how to go about when helping students while they are taking a course. During the AI course you will develop presentation-techniques for all the theoretical parts of the PADI courses.
After completion of this course you have a choice of whether you want go on and take the Instructor course or if you want to use your knowledge as a professional Assistant Instructor.
If you work as an AI for a PADI-dive center, you can:
- Certify students as PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty Divers
- Hold whole Discover Scuba pool experience
- Hold Medic First Aid courses (after you have taken the MFA Instructor course)
- Certify students in non-diving specialty courses, like equipment course (after you have become certified in that specialty)
